A Vampire Claim [Mates of Nethermore 1] Siren Publishing Classic ManLove edition by Jordan Ashton Literature Fiction eBooks
Lack of detail on what the world is like. Did the plague also hurt shifters? Currency or trade? Time frame? Nothing. And the brothers? No detail to distinguish one from the other. Also the ending wasn't solid. This book needed to be close to double its size for a book one in a series. The author was ambitious but didn't have the chops.Product details

A Vampire Claim [Mates of Nethermore 1] Siren Publishing Classic ManLove edition by Jordan Ashton Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
This is a great start to a new series. Vampire and wolf shifters in the mix. When two brothers try to escape the vampires, but only one makes it. can the ones that have found Vincent truly believe that he is not a threat to them & stay there hand of killing him. what to do when your eternal mate is in danger and that is from your own family. Recommend this book
Interesting premise. Awesome start of a series. Leaves you wanting more but not lost and confused. Definitely needs to flesh out some details in later books, however. Steamy sex scenes, romantic spots, action and adventure all rolled up in a vampire werewolf crossover. I love the idea of a wolf and a vamp being mates and I cannot wait to see how this works out.
As an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock, I give this one four fangs for the crossover idea alone! I will definitely check out the rest of this series!!!
Vincent Amber and his brother Warren were captives of a Vampire clan for months. When they escaped, Vincent made it but Warren was caught again.
Caleb, Mason, Aiden and Ian Pride are brothers and wolf shifters. They hunt vampires, demons and anything else evil. When Caleb captures Vincent believing he's a vampire Mason's not so sure. There's an instant attraction between Mason and Vincent. Once Mason gives him blood and they make love they're bonded, eternal mates. Now Mason has to convince his brothers not to kill the man he loves and he and Vincent have to rescue Warren.
Can they get to Warren in time? Can Mason convince Caleb that Vincent isnt an evil vampire? What is Vincent? Is he human or vampire or something else entirely? This is a short story with some hot M/M action. A good read on lunch or for a hot soak. Due to the sex scenes it's not recommend for the under 18 crowd.

Vincent escapes the vampires holding him and his brother captive, but Warren isn't so lucky. Mason's brother finds Vincent feeding on rats and captures him to make Vincent tell him where the Draco lair is. Mason's reaction to Vincent is instant but surprising. Vincent smells like a vampire and feeds like one, but insists he is human. Mason and his brothers are vampire hunters. Can Mason save Vincent from his brother's stake in time to save Warren??
Some major editing needed here! Twice the wrong brothers name was used, not many pages after telling us that he was dead! Nathan said something, or did something, when he really shouldn't be doing or saying anything!
Also, I'm all for this instant love thing, but for me this did not quite work here.
It was short and sexy and a little violent, leading it to be filed firmly and squarely on the hang over shelf. It could be filed under vampire violence or shifter sex, either one, my go to books to clear my head.
Warren still needs rescuing, but will it be Vincent and Mason, or one of the other brothers who come to his aid??
3.5 stars
