Again good read enjoying the story of the MC but again wish which book wasn't so short ,but the other books in this are quiet good too worth a read .

The one that got away now she is back and a police officer Snake has always regretted the breakup with the love of his life but he was in a biker club unknown to her and she wanted to be a police officer to protect her he let her go and all of those feelings that never left are coming back full force. This was a fast read so it does feel like some things are missing but it is part of a series so I'm sure the next book will pick up from where this one left off other then that I enjoyed this read.
I've not read the other books in this series, but that didn't hamper me from understanding this one. Jace and Laiken had a very strong connection, both using the other to escape their home lives at the time. But Jace is about to embark on patching in with the Road Rebels Motorcycle Club, and his misplaced sense of protection leads him to lie to Laiken about where he's spending his time away from her. In a dramatic exit, Laiken leaves and pursues her dream of becoming a cop. Six years later... "I was caught between two worlds. I was in love with a cop, and I was related to a gang. I was dedicated to my outlaw family, and I wanted to be dedicated to a police officer." I loved the idea of Jace (known as Snake in the MC world) having to figure out where his loyalties lie. How could he make his outlaw life in the MC work with Laiken who is sworn to uphold the law? I was a bit put off by the fact Laiken was continuous referred to as curvy, jiggly, and lots of other body shaming adjectives. Once or twice is fine, but after that it was overkill. This book had more than a dozen grammatical errors which brought my rating down a 1/2 star, so a thorough editing is needed.
Great book to read.
A wild ride into the life of Snake in the Road Rebels MC. It is about time he finally got to blow off the steam that he has built up. Laiken is the perfect compliment to Snake, and their chemistry is off the charts.
Snake and Laiken was a great interesting love story. There were many twists and turns through out the story. Can't wait for Fox 's story and to catch up with the rest of the MC club members. My only complaint with the author is who ever does the proof reading needs to make sure the sentences read right. Just because the words are spelled right doesn't mean they belong in the sentence. Otherwise I totally recommend all her books.
It was great to read a story of young love and commitment. Jace or Snake as he is known in the MC world missed the girl he once knew. A few years later they meet and he finds out she is now a cop. Laiken had always wanted to be a cop she is on the DEA task force which could mean problems for them, the police and the Road Rebels MC. Get this book three, you won't regret it.

Laiken fell for Jace (Snake) when she was in college. When they had a falling out she moved away to attend Police Academy and to work. When she returns home to care for her mother a chance encounter in a bar brings Jace back into her life. Problem is she now works for the local police and the Rebels are one their radar.
